The sangeet is a vibrant and joyous pre-wedding celebration in Hindu weddings. It serves as a fun gathering for both families and friends to come together and celebrate the upcoming marriage. Dinner will be served.

Haldi / Mehendi

Indian traditional or casual (yellow / orange recommended!)

Haldi involves applying a turmeric paste to the bride and groom as a ritual for blessing, beautification, and protection against evil. See: https://www.theknot.com/content/haldi-ceremony Mehendi is a pre-wedding ceremony where intricate henna designs are applied to the bride's hands and feet, symbolizing beauty, joy, and good luck. Satyanarayan Puja

It is commonly performed after a Hindu wedding to ensure the couple’s well-being, prosperity, and harmony in their married life. Lunch will be served.
