February is summer in Peru. Weather will be around 80 degrees and sunshine - no rain expected. Note: Intercontinental Real Lima Miraflores Hotel has a rooftop infinity pool to enjoy.

Is Lima expensive?

Answer

For New Yorkers, Lima is a great value. While the Peruvian Sol currency is the strongest in South America, the U.S dollar is still stronger so the exchange is excellent for Americans. Expect to pay significantly less than U.S. prices.

Lima is considered the culinary capital of the world with many of the world’s best restaurants. Peruvian cuisine reflects a mix of Incan, Japanese, Chinese and European influences so something for everyone. Also, across the street from the hotel are all the American favorites: Burger King, KFC, Chili’s, TGIFridays, Pizza Hut, Starbucks and more!
