We're getting married! Come party with us!

We met in the summer of 2021 as co-workers at an Italian pizzeria and wine bar, Basil and Board. We joked around and were comfortable with each other from the beginning, and it all started the night we went out with a group of coworkers. From that night on we were pretty much inseparable. We quickly realized our similarities from music, humor, to our values and morals. By the summer of ‘22 we had experienced unparalleled and life-altering changes together which made our bond even deeper. We realized the importance of living each moment with a sense of purpose and that we had found purpose with each other. Our favorite spot to be during the summers is at the cabin her grandparents built in 1977, where each summer is spent in the Pepiot family. Summer’s grandparents meticulously cared for the property and made it a paradise filled with love and wonder every summer. For that reason, Summer knew that it was the most perfect spot she could fathom to propose to Scott (and beat him to the punch). When the sky turned black and the stars started to shine, we roasted marshmallows and weenies, played music, laughed hard, and listened to the boats passing by in the lake. When Summer mustered the courage she asked to read Scott a love note. After reading it she got down on her knee and pulled out the ring and asked him to be her husband. After confirming (by firelight) it was a real ring and not a joke, Scott jumped and danced with joy. Video evidence provided upon request. The last few years have been filled with love, laughter, a move to Eugene to finally live together with our kitties, and finding new passions and hobbies. <3
