Sea Pines boasts 60 miles of beautifully maintained bike paths, making it a cyclist’s paradise. Whenever we visit Hilton Head, renting bikes is a must for exploring the area. We love working with the company "Pedals"—they offer fantastic service, delivering bikes directly to your accommodations and picking them up when you’re ready to head home. Some must-visit stops along your ride include Harbour Town, Sea Pines Forest Preserve, Coligny Plaza Shopping Center, and South Beach. It’s a wonderful way to take in all the sights and charm of the area!

South Beach in Hilton Head is a charming area known for its tranquil shoreline and incredible dolphin sightings. This hidden gem offers a unique opportunity to see dolphins very close to the shoreline. It is estimated that a population of about 170 dolphins resides in the Hilton Head area year-round. We only recently discovered this spot, but it has quickly become a favorite—there’s a great chance you’ll catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures!
Sea Pines Forest Preserve is a stunning natural sanctuary in Hilton Head, offering visitors a chance to explore lush forests, scenic wetlands, and picturesque meadows. It’s home to diverse wildlife, alligators, and tons of birds. All Free!
Ride your bikes to the Lawton Stables where you can get up close and personal with the farm animals. They have a wonderful collection of small animals, including goats, miniature donkeys, pot-bellied pigs, alpacas, ponies, and chickens that you can pet and feed. All Free!

Charleston is a short 2 hour drive away from Hilton Head and is definitely worth the day trip. The town is incredibly quaint, with cobblestone palm tree lined streets, pastel colored buildings, beautiful Spanish moss covered trees, and ocean views. We have a few favorite restaurants if you decide to visit: Raw 167 (order the raw Tuna Burger, it is unreal) and Hals Chophouse (the most incredible ribeye you'll ever have).
Savannah, Georgia, is only 50 minutes from Hilton Head and enchants with its moss-draped oaks, cobblestone streets, and historic squares. It has a rich history, vibrant arts scene, and Southern cuisine, all wrapped in timeless charm and warm hospitality.
