BOOK NOW! If you know you're coming (yay). Orcas Island books up early because it's amazing. Right now, most venues have space and there are choices. We have a BLOCK RESERVED at the Inn mentioned below (please call instead of booking online). There are other hotels and Airbnbs on the Island. We suggest staying close to East Sound.
It's easier to get around the island if you have a car. If you're staying in Eastsound, it's easy to walk a lot of places, but there's not much public transportation to go further, few Ubers, and only 5 rental cars from one company. We'll have a shuttle bringing people to and fro the pizza party and the wedding.
If you rent a car, you'll need to make a ferry reservation, allowing time to drive from Seattle to Anacortes. Here's the ferry link:
