FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our Friday wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only event. However, children can join the Thursday and Saturday events. If you are interested in childcare, we've been told the Bambino app is particularly good for finding trusted sitters in Austin. Other options include SitterCity, UrbanSitter and Care.com.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will be holding a welcome event on Thursday evening and a day-after event on Saturday afternoon. Please see the "Schedule" page for more information.

Question

Do I need a car?

Answer

In short, nopers! One of our favorite things about East Austin is how central and accessible it is (95 walk score). Downtown Austin is also really easy to get around on foot or on scooter, plus it's walkable to East Austin. Speaking of scooters, they are EVERYWHERE. However, if you plan to explore greater Austin, San Antonio or Texas wine country, then a car is recommended. More information to come on the "Things to Do" page.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, the venue has plenty of parking. However, we encourage you to Uber or Lyft there, as we will be providing a one-way shuttle back to East Austin after the event ends. The venue is about a 15-minute ride from East Austin.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please email us at suananick@gmail.com.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please check the "Travel" page for hotel recommendations.
