Getting Hitched!

Five years ago, in the midst of a global pandemic, a simple swipe on Tinder changed everything. Even with a first date mishap involving a missing registration sticker and a thirty minute search party, Rachel and Alex’s connection was clear. They shared so many similarities, it’s truly a miracle they hadn’t met earlier. From being born at the same hospital, growing up a couple miles apart, and having family ties in both Illinois and Michigan, their connection was evident from the start. Rachel and Alex spent much of the early part of their relationship surviving quarantine together. Alex introduced Rachel to the world of cats, video games, and Marvel, while Rachel opened Alex’s world to books, parma rosa, and Monk. Throughout the years, Rachel and Alex’s connection grew deeper as they built their lives together. Alex stood by Rachel, helping her navigate through college and celebrating each milestone along the way. When Alex earned his full-time position at the AirZoo, Rachel couldn’t have been prouder. One Sunday afternoon in May, Alex surprised Rachel by getting down on one knee and popping the big question at their favorite date spot. Today, they are growing their love in Kalamazoo, surrounded by their two fur babies, Scorpio and Opal. They are so grateful for the life they have created together—full of laughter, adventure, and love—and can’t wait to continue this journey with each other and all of you by their side.
