Avina & Stuart

Oklahoma 101

The Wedding Website of Avina Khiatani and Stuart Boyes
We are incredibly privileged to have friends from all over the world. We want everyone who visits to love Oklahoma City (so that you want to visit all the time - ha!), so we've created a list of things we love to do and places we love to eat so we can share the best of this city with you.

Myriad Botanical Gardens

301 West Reno Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102
, (405) 445-7080

Fall is the perfect time of year to experience the beautiful Myriad Botanical Gardens, which is located just walking distance from our venue, and other suggested landmarks.

Oklahoma City Zoo

2101 Northeast 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73111
, (405) 424-3344

Make sure to bring your walking shoes! Oklahoma has a lot of land.

Oklahoma City Museum of Art

415 Couch Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73102
, (405) 236-3100

The museum always has some unique expos, and it's a beautiful location for rooftop views of the city - and they serve high tea!

Bricktown

Oklahoma City, OK

Gondolas, tourists, bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, all the clubs, etcetera.

Paseo Arts District

3022 Paseo, Oklahoma City, OK 73103
, (405) 525-2688

Hipster central of Oklahoma City! It’s colorful, it’s liberated, it’s musty, and it’s a must-see.

Plaza District

Oklahoma City, OK 73106

Oklahoma City-ites love a good mimosa with some Sunday brunch on the side. The plaza district has all.the.restaurants. Make reservations in advance tho!

Bleu Garten

301 Northwest 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103

Food trucks, corn hole, dogs and beer. Need I say more?

Asian District

Oklahoma City, OK

All the best restaurants in Oklahoma City are housed here, in our very not humble opinions. If you’re adventurous (or familiar) try Fung’s for Dim Sum on weekends (11-3).

O Bar

Oklahoma City, OK 73103
, (405) 898-8170

Like rooftop bars and panoramic views? Try O bar! It gets pretty young yuppie in the night hours, though. You’ve been warned.

Oklahoma State University Homecoming!

Stillwater, OK
, (405) 744-5000

Our wedding day is homecoming day - There are floats and people and football games and it’s exciting! .... don’t have too much fun and miss our wedding though.

Stockyards City Main Street

1305 South Agnew Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73108
, (405) 235-7267

Visit Stockard City from 10am-4pm to see the annual stockyard “stampede” (cattle run). Yep, that’s right, you got lucky and made it to okc the one day this was happening! There will be all kinds of fun celebrations AND you can get your own pair of cowboy boots while you’re there!! Just don’t wear them to the wedding.

Orr Family Farm

14400 South Western Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73170
, (405) 799-3276

There’s a fall maze, pumpkin patch and lots of family fun activities!

A very cool food hall with lots to choose from! #sodosopa
