Four score and seven years ago, Stuart and Avina were born in their respective regions of the world. Avina, in Hong Kong, and Stuart, in Enid Oklahoma. Life did this strange and funny thing by curating both of them into the types of people who enjoy things such as dancing with animals, excelling at Friends trivia, singing duets of Queen in the morning for no one, yelling made-up-words for no reason, and wearing bear costumes in the winter to embrace hibernation. Stuart is an industrial engineer. Avina is a licensed psychologist. They both care plenty about their careers, about helping people, about working hard, about doing meaningful things, about curiosity, authenticity, humor, food, Netflix, and animals... They somehow met in Oklahoma. They somehow live in Oklahoma. They love each other, Stuart proposed in bear costume, and they will be wed in Oklahoma.

Stuart and Avina will be having both the ceremony and reception at the Nault Fine Art Gallery in Midtown OKC. This shows that they're sophisticated yet don't take themselves too seriously. They'd both thrown around ideas of eloping, having a courthouse wedding, an impromptu beach wedding, a traveling wedding, etc, but also really wanted this to be a time when they got to have a party with the people who matter to them most.
