Stu is a born and bred Texan, who has lived here his whole life, minus the five years he worked for Uncle Sam. It was during his service to our country that Stu became disabled and had to learn a new way of living his life. Although he has overcome a lot of struggles from the disability, Stu has held on to his pride as a Soldier and is able to devote his love to Salina and her daughters.

Salina was born and raised in the Lone Star State. She works for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. Salina loves off-road racing, guns, tacos, and her family. She is the widow of Mike Friend and carries all of the love and lessons learned from their 20+ years of marriage.
Bill Olsen
Best Man
Bill and Stu have known each other for almost 20 years. They met when they were stationed at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado and have stayed best friends since. Even though their paths have gone different directions, they have always found different life events to get together. "I am happy and proud to have Bill as my Best Man. HOOAH!".
Peggy Vasquez
Maid of Honor
Peggy has been the bride's best friend for over 35 years! Peggy loves crafting and baking. She makes the most delicious salted caramel cookies. She and her family reside in Lubbock. Joshua Hamilton
Groomsman
Joshua and Stu met back in 2012 while attending UNT. Even though both of them were English majors, they would seldom see each other on campus. Where they got to know each other was through a business mentorship program. Joshua also said to be sure to pass this on. "Congratulations, Stu and Salina! So excited to be a part of your special day and we wish you years of happiness and joy in your marriage. Brianna Friend

Brianna is the bride's oldest daughter. She is currently working full-time for TBN and attends school online to pursue her Master's Degree in Licensed Clinical Social Work. Her wit and quirky character make her fun to be around. She is lovable and dependable and we are thrilled to have her in our wedding. Brianna's quote for the wedding: "Webster's dictionary defines wedding as ""The fusing of two metals with a hot torch. Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold Medals."" Cristian Hassan
Groomsman
Cristian and Stu met in 2012 as part of a business mentorship program. Cristian helped Stu realize ways that he can change and improve his life and become a better suitor for his future wife. Through road trips all over the mideastern part of the US, Stu and Cristian became best friends. He also made sure to pass along this note, "I'm excited to be a part of this wedding. Stu has been preparing himself emotionally and spiritually for this moment for a long time."
Jocelyn Friend

Jocelyn is the bride's youngest daughter. She is attending Blinn College and will be an oncology nurse in the future. She is fun and spunky. She loves to travel and spend time with her close friends. Jocelyn was a huge part of making Stu's proposal to Salina a success and they are excited to have her in their wedding party.
