Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! Weddings are a family event and we want to include them. We will have onsite babysitters to assist so you can enjoy the night too.

What about parking?

Answer

Parking will be tight close to the venue and MAC Sporting Complex. There is also parking available in the shopping area, as well as on the street.

What type of venue is this?

Answer

The Strand is an outdoor venue. It features the covered dance floor, sand volleyball, and cornhole. Feel free to bring a change of clothes and shoes. Learn more at TheStrand.net

What will the weather be like?

Answer

This is Texas, give it 5 minutes and it will change. October weather in the D/FW area typically ranges from 84 degrees as the high and 61 degrees as the low.

Tacos, nachos, our favorite snacks, and drinks will be provided. There will also be a cash bar on site.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Ceremony: We ask you to kindly turn off your ringers during the wedding ceremony and refrain from taking photos or videos. We have professional photographers and videographers on hand to capture all the special moments. We are excited to share their photos with you. Social Hour and Reception: YES! We would love for you to use our wedding hashtag #Friend2Presley when sharing your photos on social media.

With the combining of two homes, we have all the staples a newlywed couple would normally need. Instead, feel free to bring an Amazon gift card, cash, or make a digital gift via Venmo @SalinaFriend

Um...sand volleyball and salsa dancing at a wedding?

Answer

YES! Our wedding is like no other. There are outdoor showers to wash off your sandy feet and shoes. There are also restrooms with dressing space to change out of your wedding attire into your athletic clothing.

Am I allowed a Plus 1?

If you are an individual invitee, you may absolutely bring a guest. Please ensure to add them to your count when you RSVP.
