Please RSVP no later than Thursday, April 30th. We appreciate your prompt responses and thank you in advance so that we can adequately plan for our big day.
We recommend arriving around 3:45–4:00 PM so you have time to get settled before the 4:15 PM ceremony begins. We’ll have a drink waiting for you if you arrive early—consider it a little pre-ceremony welcome.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of our nieces and nephews. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the evening with us.
Yes, there is a dress code for each event. The Saturday welcome event is Cocktail Attire, and the Sunday ceremony and reception are Black-Tie Optional. Please see our "Travel" page on the Zola website. We have limited spots available in a hotel block at Hotel Lincoln, and the code is listed on the webpage. We also shared some other options, but as you likely know, Chicago is a large metropolitan area with numerous hotel options available.
Valet parking will be available at Cafe Brauer for both the ceremony and reception. If you’re joining the after party, please plan to retrieve your car and park at Hotel Lincoln, where the celebration will continue.
If you’re staying at Hotel Lincoln, no transportation is needed - it’s less than a 10-minute walk to both the ceremony and reception. If you’re staying elsewhere in Chicago, you can drive (valet will be available) or take an Uber/Lyft. If you live or are staying in the city, we highly recommend utilizing Uber/Lyft as there will be many options available at a reasonable rate.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors under the Honeycomb (Peoples Gas Pavilion), which is mostly covered. The reception will take place indoors at Cafe Brauer. Should the weather not cooperate on Sunday, the ceremony will also be moved indoors to Cafe Brauer.
Yes - When you RSVP for the Saturday and Sunday events, there’s a section where you can note any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll make sure they’re communicated to our vendors so they can be taken into account.
You can find all of the items for which we are registered on the Zola website. Please refer to the top banner and simply click "Registry."
