Cocktail Attire: For women, this includes cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or similar chic outfits. For men, collared shirts and slacks are preferred, and jackets/blazers are a nice addition. The goal is elegant, breezy, and photo-ready.
We're hosting an event Saturday night to kick off the wedding weekend in style - all guests are invited to attend. Guests can begin boarding at 7:30pm. The boat sets sail at 8:00pm, so don't be late! It returns to the dock at 11:00pm. We'll have hors d'oeuvres and some desserts available for guests, along with a full open bar. We will have musical entertainment as we enjoy views of Chicago's skyline from Lake Michigan and should have a great view for the 10:00pm fireworks, weather permitting.

Wedding Ceremony

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxedos and evening gowns are welcomed, but a suit and cocktail attire are perfectly appropriate as well. We just want you to feel your best and celebrate with us in style!
We will start seating guests at 3:45pm. The ceremony will begin around 4:15pm.
Wedding Reception (including Cocktail Hour)
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Immediately following the ceremony, we will move from The Honeycomb to Café Brauer - don't worry, it's a short walk (roughly 3 minutes). At Café Brauer, we will begin with a cocktail hour before moving inside for the full reception with dinner, dancing, and more fun.
After Party

Following the conclusion of the wedding reception at 11:00pm, we are hosting an after party at the J. Parker (rooftop of Hotel Lincoln). This is also a short, 5-7 minute walk from the reception site. We'll have some late night snacks and an open bar.
