The rehearsal dinner will be an intimate gathering with our wedding party and immediate family, including grandparents. It will be a time to review the wedding day schedule and begin the weekend by sharing speeches, stories, and cherished memories.
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We’re kicking off the weekend with a Welcome Party on Friday night, following the rehearsal dinner, at one of Bloomington’s popular spots. Come as you are—traveling in comfy clothes or dressed up and fabulous—it’s totally up to you! Enjoy a lively bar atmosphere with music, mingle with friends old and new, and celebrate with the bride and groom. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Our reservation is currently tentative until the final IU football schedule has been released. We’ll share updated details in the coming months.
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Cocktail attire — winter elegant
Plan to arrive early! The Woolery Mill is just under 4 miles from downtown Bloomington, with plenty of parking or a quick Uber ride. Give yourself time to hang coats, use the restroom, and settle in—plus, you’ll get to enjoy live music from musicians from the Jacobs School of Music.
5:30 pm - 11:00 pm
After the ceremony, enjoy passed appetizers and an open bar, and feel free to step outside for some fresh air on the string-lit patio with heat lamps. At 6:30 PM, the wedding party will be announced, followed by the grand entrance of Mr. & Mrs. Cannon. A buffet dinner, speeches, cake cutting, and the first dance will follow, then join us on the dance floor as we dance the night away to all of our favorite songs. The evening will conclude with a final dance at 10:30 PM and a sparkler sendoff.
