Hands down the best waffle fries & seasoned sour cream in the metro! They also have a killer brunch - think greasy hashbrowns and generous portions + free bloody (which makes it a popuar place on Sunday morning). Pro tip: there's a free late night taco bar with the purchase of a drink!
If it's a buger you're craving, look no further; you really can't go wrong with any of the burgers or fry options! Each of their locations is in a prime spot, so you'll definitely have your pick of great after-dinner drink places. (Although, being that you'll be in MN, you may want to try our famous jucy lucy burger! For this, we'd recommend Blue Door Pub with a substitution of seasoned tots).
The home to so many of our favorite places! Visit The Loop, where Taylor orders the buffalo chicken wontons every. single. time. Right next to that is Crave - Andrew is obsessed with their lettuce wraps & they have great HH sushi. Hop across the street to Rojo, for the tower of nachos (only thing Taylor's ever ordered there) and the most delicious, (but dangerous!!) margaritas. Hit up Yard House for an ample selection of local beers. Or pass the time at Punch Bowl Social with bags, darts, ping pong or (if you're feeling brave) karaoke!
While most Minnesotans would say stay away, Taylor would absolutely recommend a visit to the Mall of America!! It's the biggest mall in the country - you HAVE to. As if you need any more incentive than no sales tax (!!), there's also a theme park, aquarium, mini golf, and a movie theater all INSIDE of the mall.
This picturesque bridge spans the Mississippi river, connecting the hip North Loop area to the historic St. Anthony Main neighborhood. With so much to explore nearby (the Guthrie, Gold Medal Park, Mill City Museum), this is a great way to kill an hour or two on a beautiful day. And make sure to admire the amazing skyline views as you walk across!
Nestled right on the outskirts of downtown Minneapolis, this park provides fantastic views of the skyline and ample photo ops - including the famous cherry & spoon, as well as the infamous blue rooster. If you’re up for more, cross the pedestrian bridge into Loring Park or head over to the MPLS Institute of Art for some mini golf on the rooftop!
One of Taylor’s favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning! Wander through the stalls, checking out all the fresh flowers and produce; try all of the samples from the WI cheese vendor; and then grab some breakfast/brunch and listen to the live music!
Obviously we're going to recommend some lake time while you're here and this is one of our favorite lakes to walk around! We could sit and stare at the incredible houses all day, so grab some takeout for a little picnic in the grass & do just that! If you're feeling adventurous, Lake Calhoun and Cedar Lake are close by and also make for a great walk.
