Flight
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is the largest airport in the Phoenix metro. It is conveniently located in central Phoenix and is less than 20 minutes away from our wedding venue.
Travel Note
Once you're in Phoenix it is very easy to get around, but it is spread out. I would suggest renting a car or planning ahead that you intend to use rideshare to get around. If you're looking to use rideshare, Lyfts and Ubers are easy to get in the Phoenix metro and will usually get to you within 5 to 10 minutes. While Waymo driverless cabs are a fun option for getting around, they’re limited in where they can go and unfortunately don’t serve our wedding venue. Similarly, the light rail doesn’t reach the venue, but it’s still a great way to explore some of our favorite attractions in Phoenix.
Hotel
This is where Alyssa and Eric had their first staycation! Rise Uptown Hotel is a fun boutique hotel with lots of unique touches. We love this hotel and had lots of fun! Our rehearsal dinner will be at the rooftop bar here, Don Woods' Say When. This hotel is centrally located and just 10 minutes from the wedding venue.
Hotel
This is where Alyssa and Eric got engaged! If you're looking for a unique luxury stay, this is the place to go. This option is further away from the venue, about a 30 minute drive.
Travel Note
February in the Phoenix area is lovely! The weather is mild and sunny, with daytime highs around 67–70°F and cooler nights near 48–50°F. It is mostly dry, with only a few days of light rain. Expect plenty of sunshine and low humidity. Plan to wear light layers so you stay comfortable throughout the day. No big puffer coat needed!
