Things To Do

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! If you’re spending the weekend with us, here are some of our favorite spots and activities to check out in the area.

Historic Downtown Flagstaff

6 E Aspen Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

A few of our favorite shops and eats are: Old Town Shops, Steep - Leaf Lounge, Patio Thai Cuisine, Lumberyard Brewing Co, and the Sweet Shoppe Candy Store

Lowell Observatory

1400 W Mars Hill Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

It was at the Lowell Observatory that the dwarf planet Pluto was discovered in 1930.

Lava River Cave

171B Forest Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

Such a cool and unique hike in total darkness, but not suitable for everyone. Make sure to bring 2 sources of light (flashlight and headlamp), wear sturdy, stable shoes, and wear warm clothing (constant average temperature of 42°).

Flagstaff Extreme

2700 Woodlands Village Blvd, Suite 300-249, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

This is a Tree Top Adventure Course and Zipline which could be fun if you're not afraid of heights!

Bearizona

1500 E Rte 66, Williams, AZ 86046

Drive through: Bearizona invites guests to drive into the largest ponderosa pine forest and witness animals in natural habitats – all from their own private vehicle or motor coach. Walk through option: Fort Bearizona is a walk thru area located at the end of the drive thru. Keep your eyes peeled as you wander the paths of Fort Bearizona. You might spot one of our free roaming animals like our peacocks. Skunks and porcupines might wander right across your feet as part of one of our many animal encounters. Larger animals like jaguars, grizzly bears and otters are viewable for as long as you like.

Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023

Located less than 1.5 hours from Flagstaff and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World!

Hideaway House

231 state route 179, Sedona, AZ 86336

This is the restaurant where we went right after getting engaged to call and share the news with all our loved ones! We highly recommend the Roasted Peach & Caramelized Pancetta pizza.

Sedona

Sedona, AZ 86336

Sedona is just a short drive from Flagstaff! We highly recommend taking the scenic route and spending some time exploring the Uptown Plaza, Tlaquepaque Arts Village, or even joining a Pink Jeep Tour. Enjoy great food, beautiful hikes, and incredible red rock views along the way.
