Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding? 💍

Answer

All events below are tentative (TBD). Please reach out to Steven or Julie for the latest details about any of the following. Thursday, July 2 | 6:00–8:00 PM – Rehearsal Dinner Friday, July 3 | 10:00 PM–1:00 AM – We will be having a after party in a private room at the back of Rebel Kitchen, just a 15-minute drive from the reception. To get things started, we’ve pre-purchased 100 drink coupons for our guests to enjoy. Saturday, July 4 | 3:00–10:00 PM – We’re thinking about having a Fourth of July BBQ at Steven’s parents’ house.

What is the dress code? 👔👗

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? 🌤️

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on the grass, so just a heads up for the ladies to watch out for heels. July weather in Pleasanton can be pretty hot, but the ceremony starts at 4 PM so it should be nice. If it ends up being way too hot, we’ll move the ceremony indoors. The reception will be indoors.

Is there parking for wedding? 🚗

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking available in the back. Just drive down the palm-tree-lined driveway and follow the signs to the dirt parking area. You’re welcome to leave your car overnight (especially if you end up celebrating a little too hard) and pick it up the next morning.

Will there be alcohol? 🍷

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar for about 4.5 hours (approximately 5:00–9:30 PM), with last call at 9:30 PM. Please be sure to take advantage and enjoy!

Will there be food? 🍽️

Answer

Yes! Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour between 5:00-6:00PM. Dinner will be provided from 7:00-8:30PM. Please make your food selection in the RSVP! Dessert & Late Night Snacks will be available starting at 9:00PM

Are children 👶 and dogs 🐶 welcome?

Answer

Children - Yes! 😊 Please just reach out to Steven and Julie to make sure they’re on the guest list. Dogs - No. Although we love dogs, they won’t be able to attend the wedding.
