Ann Arbor is about a half hour from the Detroit (DTW) airport. You can take a Lyft or cab, or there is a more cost-efficient bus/shuttle from the airport that will drop you off in downtown Ann Arbor at the Blake Transit Center.

We cannot confirm this, but we would imagine there are a lot of college students who would love a little extra beer money to rent out their places over a summer weekend. Additionally, there are nicer homes you are able to rent if you are looking to stay with a larger group.
