FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15th, 2025 to help us finalize all the details for our celebration. You can find the RSVP link in the official invite we sent on June 15th.

Question

Is it ok if I can only attend the main event?

Answer

Yes, of course! While we would love for you to join us for all the events, we know everyone has busy lives and has traveled a long way to be with us. We’re just happy to celebrate with you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome on the trip as we know you all want to spend time with your loved ones; however, we likely won't have enough space to accommodate kids for the wedding itself. If you’d like, we can provide contact information for trusted nannies.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Puerto Escondido in November is generally warm and pleasant, with temperatures from 30°C to 23°C (86°F to 73°F). It’s the transition from the rainy season to the dry season, making it a perfect escape from the start of winter.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held on the beach, followed by a cocktail hour and a seated dinner on the lawn.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach formal attire. Please wear comfortable shoes, as the ceremony will take place on the sand, and the reception will be on grass.

Question

Will there be transportation provided from Punta de Zicatela to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, on the day of our wedding, there will be a hotel pickup and drop off from downtown Punta de Zicatela. Please see the schedule page for more details about pickup time.

Question

Do businesses in Puerto Escondido accept credit card or cash only?

Answer

While most larger businesses accept credit cards, it's best to have local cash on hand as well. Many small stores, restaurants and bars might not accept cards.

Question

Is Puerto Escondido Safe?

Answer

Puerto Escondido is extremely safe and people are very warm and welcoming throughout the town. The tap water, however, is a bit risky, so we suggest you drink bottled water and brush your teeth with bottled water to make sure you remain happy and healthy for the big day.
