Right downtown, the SC Aquarium is completely accessible for everyone traveling to Charleston! Features a beautiful view of the harbor and a turtle rehab center :)
Charleston Battery
Walk along the Charleston Battery to see the beauty of both the harbor and Rainbow Row. Start from Waterfront Park and end at White Point Gardens. Make sure to take a picture with the infamous Pineapple Fountain!
Charleston Ghost Tours
Spooky! Ghost tours in Charleston are a great way to explore the city and learn all about Charleston's history. Ghostwalk and Ashley on the Cooper are two other great companies for this. Tours start after sunset.
Historic Charleston City Market
Take a bit of Charleston home with you! Right in the heart of downtown, the market offers a wide selection of goods for purchase from local artisans and vendors.
Fort Sumter
This is one of Mike's personal favorites. Take a ride through the harbor to get to Fort Sumter, a classic in American history and mainstay of the Civil War. Boat pick-up is right near the aquarium and completely accessible from downtown Charleston!

Connecting downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant, the Ravenel Bridge is the perfect venue for anyone hoping to get a little exercise. Views of Charleston are stunning - we recommend you bring some water and sunscreen!
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
Explore the USS Yorktown and Vietnam War Museum at Patriots Point. Car required OR ~walkable~ distance from the Ravenel Bridge should you decide to complete the bridge walk.
Folly Beach
A cute beach town beloved by Charleston residents with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Car required. Other beautiful beaches are Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. We promise, it'll be warm enough to visit in December!
Charleston Tea Garden
You'll need a car to get here, but definitely worth the trip! Includes tea sampling and a tour of the only tea plantation in the United States. Check out Deep Water Vineyard while you're out here!
Deep Water Vineyard
A unique twist on a normal winery. Car required. We highly recommend checking Deep Water out at the same time as the Tea Plantation since they are in the same area.
