Getting Around

Taos is a very small town (population 6,000). You cannot rely on Uber and Lyft being readily available (or cheap). We recommend that the group you're traveling with has access to at least one car (depending on the size of your group).

Shuttle

Shuttle to The Ceremony

We will be offering complimentary shuttle service to and from the wedding venue (The Stakeout). The shuttle will pick guests up in groups in central locations near downtown Taos, but it will drop you off wherever you're staying (whether that is a nearby Airbnb or hotel). You are also more than welcome to drive to the wedding ceremony, take the shuttle service home, and pick your car up at The Stakeout the following day (as long as you're able to catch a ride back to the venue on Sunday!).

Airbnb is a great option for lodging in Taos for couples and groups! Just make sure not to stay too far from the center of town (​102 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte A, Taos, NM 87571), especially if you will not have access to a car. Our Welcome Event Friday night will be either in or around downtown Taos. The Stakeout, our wedding venue is 15 minutes from the center of town. A complimentary shuttle will pick you up at a central location near downtown Taos, but you can be dropped off at the end of the night wherever you're staying.

You must make your reservation by May 3 to secure the discounted rate. We have secured a discounted room rate for our wedding guests at Hotel Don Fernando de Taos! Rooms with 1 king bed are $139 per night and rooms with 2 queen beds are $149 per night. You may book rooms under this rate anytime between Thursday, June 2 (checking in) and Monday, June 6 (checking out). This rate is applicable for any number of nights during that time frame (ex: you could stay for as little as 1 night or up to 4 nights, up to you!). When booking online, simply 1) enter the dates you wish to stay, 2) click 'Special Rates,' 3) enter "MSW" under "Promotion Code."
