We're continuing to monitor the situation and local New Mexico regulations regarding COVID-19. You should anticipate needing to show proof of vaccination in order to attend our wedding ceremony and reception, and any other indoor gatherings.
It can get pretty hot in Taos in early June! The sun doesn't set until 8:15 p.m. We want to make sure our guests are as comfortable as possible for our outdoor wedding ceremony, which is why our ceremony won't start until 7 p.m. We'll have passed appetizers starting at 7:30 p.m. and a family-style dinner service starting at 8:30 p.m. Thank you for planning accordingly!
Yes! If we invited you and know that you have children, we've planned for them to be at our special day! That being said, if you'd prefer to leave the kids at home or if you'd prefer to bring them to Taos, but would like help setting up childcare, please reach out to Stephanie or Domenic directly.
The elevation at the venue is 7,350 feet. And no, you shouldn’t be! For those that live close to sea level, make sure you are aware of this, and take precautions to ensure you are acclimated and have a good time! A few recommendations: 🥴 Drink water! Many symptoms of “altitude sickness” tend to be symptoms of dehydration. ⛰ Take it easy at first. The air is thinner at higher elevations, so don’t plan any major physical activity immediately upon arrival, and give your body some time to adjust. 🍻 Consume consciously. If you’re already feeling symptoms of altitude sickness, consuming alcohol tends to make those symptoms worse. ☀️Use sunscreen! Higher elevation means more exposure to the sun. We don’t want you looking like a lobster in our wedding photos. 😉
