Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Stephanie Rohling and Carter Rohling
We know the majority of our guests are coming to Dallas from out of town, and we'd love for you to make the most out of your trip here! Especially for those of you who have never been to Texas! Make sure to prepare for the heat. Dallas restaurants usually require reservations ahead of time, so we suggest doing some research a few weeks before if you're planning to make dinner/cocktail plans for Friday night. Here are a few of our favorite things to do in Dallas!
Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

2201 North Field Street, Dallas, TX 75201
, (214) 428-5555

This museum is where we enjoyed our first date! If you happen to get in on a Thursday, there is an event called Thursdays on Tap exclusive to adults with live music, food trucks, and drinks.

The Adolphus, Autograph Collection

The Adolphus, Autograph Collection

1321 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75202
, (214) 742-8200

We absolutely love this hotel which is exactly why we chose to get married here! The Rodeo Bar is our favorite bar in this hotel. It's a casual country vibe with great food. The Rodeo Bar's downstairs room is a great place to hang out. The Adolphus is famous for their Tea Service. Snag a reservation if you're feeling fancy (a few months in advance to be safe because it fills up fast) and enjoy the stunning French Room. The French Room Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy an upscale cocktail. We love their cocktail menu! (also suggest getting a reservation). Don't forget to grab a latte at Otto's Coffee!

Bishop Arts District

Bishop Arts District

419 N Bishop Ave, Dallas, TX 75208

This eclectic, funky neighborhood with lots of charm and character is home to over 60 independent boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and art galleries, making it one of Dallas' most unique neighborhoods. Some of our favorite restaurants include Eno's Pizzeria, Lockhart Smokehouse BBQ, and Paradiso. If you're looking for a low-key, casual place to hang out for a drink our favorite places are Bar Eden Lounge, Atlas, and Revelers Hall. Don't forget to grab a slice of pie at Emporium Pies!

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218
, (214) 515-6615

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is a local treasure. The park is home to 19 different gardens, each showcasing a varied collection of beautiful plants, flowers, water features, sculptures, and unique architecture. Nestled on the shores of White Rock Lake, the arboretum is located perfectly to provide amazing views downtown Dallas, which is located just a few miles to the southwest. The abundant and lush vegetation in the arboretum provides around 66 acres of prime habitat, and the park is home to an plethora of delightful urban wildlife.

Klyde Warren Park

Klyde Warren Park
