If you’re able to stay a little longer, the 2027 Calgary Stampede runs from July 9–18! Known as The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, the Stampede features concerts, rodeos, chuckwagon races, midway rides, incredible food, and nonstop events throughout the city. It’s one of Calgary’s biggest and most iconic celebrations, and a fun way to continue the festivities after the wedding!
Just over an hour from Calgary, Banff is one of the most beautiful places in the world and absolutely worth the drive. Banff is especially meaningful to Stephanie’s family, as her great-grandparents opened the Lux Theatre there in 1937. It’s also where Stephanie introduced Aleksa to his very first candy apple from the Banff Candy Store — a relationship milestone, obviously.
Calgary’s oldest neighbourhood, and home to Stephanie and Aleksa’s very first date. Between the river pathways, local shops, patios, and live music, it’s one of our favourite spots in the city and definitely worth exploring while you’re here.
One of our favourite places in the city and Oski’s favourite walking spot. Stephanie and Aleksa have spent countless hours here together. This includes taking their engagement photos surrounded by the trees and river pathways.
One of our favourite restaurants in Calgary, and Aleksa’s absolute favourite. Just don’t get him started on the carbonara katsu curry unless you have a few extra hours to spare.
A Calgary brunch staple, and Stephanie's personal fav!
Aleksa took Stephanie to this beautiful and upscale restaurant on one of their first dates!
Calgary’s largest shopping mall with luxury brands, great dining, and everything in between. Stephanie and Aleksa spend an embarrassing amount of time here. Strictly because it’s in the neighbourhood, of course ;).
Great restaurants, patios, cocktails, and nightlife! You are sure to have a great time.
Kensington is one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Calgary, and a place we’ve spent lots of time together over the years. Some of our favourite restaurants are here and we love the walkability and atmosphere of the area.
