We chose Sayulita as our destination because of its close proximity to Puerto Vallarta and all of the easy direct flight options for our guests. Sayulita is about 40minutes drive from Puerto Vallarta airport.

This is beachfront hippie-chic at its finest: palapas and canopied beds, sensual organic architecture and scads of luscious lounge-worthy spots. Its outside of town, so you would want to rent a golf cart to get around.

If you aren't into the small town idea of Sayulita, you can consider staying in Punta Mita. This hotel is new and looks gorgeous. It would only be a 25 minute drive to the wedding if you prefer some of the more lux options in Punta Mita. There is also a W, Four Seasons + St. Regis.

Sayulita Life is a good resource for all things, but they do a great job at outlining the different transportation options to get around. Have a look at their website for all your needs! Apparently golf carts can sell out, so we suggest reserving one in advance if you plan to have one.
