Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Stephanie Gulledge and Mikel Goicoechea
Here are a few of our favourite things to do in the area! More to come!

Surf

Sayulita, Mexico

There is the obvious surf breakt that is great for longboarders in town. It can get busy, so its worth checking out a few other spots like: San Pancho, La Lancha and Burros. Its a great destination to learn, let us know if you want to get some info for lesson! Wildmex has some really great rental options if you want to get a board for your stay!

Whale Watching

Sayulita, Mexico

The biogeographic location of Sayulita makes it a whale watcher's dream Situated at the meeting point of the North Pacific Ocean and the entrance to the Sea of Cortez, the beginning of the region termed the "Eastern Tropical Pacific", to the east of the Marias Islands and just to the north of the Bay of Banderas, Sayulita is centered in a marine transition zone which ensures a wide diversity of whales and dolphins, and creates an incredible location for whale watching.

Sea Turtle Release

Sayulita, Mexico

The turtle camp is on Sayulita's far north end of the beach just before Pajaro de Fuego. If coming from the street, the address is 196 Av del Palmar. It is a roped off area on the beach with marker sticks indicating each nest. Volunteers are needed to for nighttime beach patrol shifts and relocating the eggs. Be sure to check the North side of the beach every night from August - December around 6:30pm for the turtle release. Enjoy the sunset and help release the baby turtles that hatched that day!

Yoga & Fitness

Sayulita, Mexico

There are so many places to check out yoga in town. There is even an ocean view cross fit studio for anyone that really wants to get their sweat on!

Golf

There are tons of great hikes to explore the beautiful coastline! The hike up to monkey hill might be the most famous of them all! You can get ideas on mexi treks or seayulita!
