There is the obvious surf breakt that is great for longboarders in town. It can get busy, so its worth checking out a few other spots like: San Pancho, La Lancha and Burros. The biogeographic location of Sayulita makes it a whale watcher's dream Situated at the meeting point of the North Pacific Ocean and the entrance to the Sea of Cortez, the beginning of the region termed the "Eastern Tropical Pacific", to the east of the Marias Islands and just to the north of the Bay of Banderas, Sayulita is centered in a marine transition zone which ensures a wide diversity of whales and dolphins, and creates an incredible location for whale watching.
The turtle camp is on Sayulita's far north end of the beach just before Pajaro de Fuego. If coming from the street, the address is 196 Av del Palmar. It is a roped off area on the beach with marker sticks indicating each nest. Volunteers are needed to for nighttime beach patrol shifts and relocating the eggs. Be sure to check the North side of the beach every night from August - December around 6:30pm for the turtle release. Enjoy the sunset and help release the baby turtles that hatched that day!
There are so many places to check out yoga in town. There is even an ocean view cross fit studio for anyone that really wants to get their sweat on!
Sayulita boasts many golf courses in the surrounding area. Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf and Robert von Hagge and other great Golf Course designers have created a variety of beautiful courses open to the public in nearby Punta de Mita and Puerto Vallarta.
There are tons of great hikes to explore the beautiful coastline! The hike up to monkey hill might be the most famous of them all! You can get ideas on mexi treks or seayulita!

There are tons of cute shops in town, everything from handmade artisanal crafts to jewelry and textiles. Bikinis, bags and lots of amazing things to take home to decorate. Save some time for town and be sure to try a paleta while cruising the streets. Be sure to see " La Esperanza".
Its such a beautiful bay to get out on the water to explore. Try wildmex or Stand up Paddle mexico for Sup rentals.
Gorgeous pool and amazing food. Great place to spend a day! Its in the adorable town of San Pancho, about 20 minutes drive North from Sayulita.
Marlin, tuna, sharks, grouper. Be sure to bring your fresh catch back to the Villa for ceviche.
