Cancun International Airport (CUN)

To get to Tulum, you'll fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). There are direct flights from most major US airports. From there, it's about a 1.5 - 2 hour drive to Tulum, depending on traffic. PRO TIP: The customs line at CUN can get a bit crazy. There's an automated self-service line to the far left that moves much faster vs. waiting in the normal lines.

Rental Car

STP Caribe

There are several ways to get to Tulum from Cancun. For private transfer, we recommend booking with STP Caribe. The car service is based around your flight arrival and departures times, so please book after you've purchased your flights. It can be helpful to carpool with anyone else who is arriving or departing at similar times. Text Jared/Steph and we will help facilitate that! There are other reputable private transfer companies, if you'd like to explore additional options. Other transportation options include: Rental Car - Please ensure that your hotel has parking spots available as parking is tough to come by in Tulum Beach. ADO Bus - If you choose this option, it is highly recommended that you book your tickets in advance. A 20-30 minute taxi ride will be required from the downtown bus station to the Tulum Beach area. Hotel Information

There are several great hotel options surrounding the venue, Akiin Beach Tulum. This makes it easy to stay in one central area without the use of taxis. Our Welcome and Rehearsal Dinner venues are nearby and walkable. FYI: The roads in Tulum are narrow and there are rarely sidewalks, so walking on the street can be a little sketchy. Therefore, we recommend that all guests stay within a 10 minute walk (on the beach) from the venue. If you prefer to stay at a hotel further away, no worries at all, there are plenty of taxis in the area. Just keep in mind that there can be traffic at night since the main road has only one lane in each direction. We've shared several hotel options at a variety of price points. The Ahau Collection of hotels all include our group discount code. Most hotels have "dynamic" room rates that fluctuate throughout the year. We've also had luck emailing hotel reservations directly to get a lower rate than what is listed online. Please let us know if you have any questions!
