9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Calling anyone who is scuba-certified! Come join Jared and friends on a suba-diving trip in the morning before lunch! It may be an early wake-up call, but Tulum has some of the best diving around!
Tickets TBD.
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Attire: Whatever you want! Nothing is too casual- bathing suits and cover-ups are welcome.!
We are hosting lunch at our hotel, Delek Tulum, to kick off the weekend! Lunch will be located at the hotel's beachfront restaurant, Tatewari. Afterwards, we will be hanging on the beach there all day if you'd like to stay or come and meet up!
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Attire: Come As You Are
Jean shorts, t-shirts, and sundresses are welcome! The floor at the venue is made of pebbles, so flats or block heels are recommended.
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Come join us for a day at the Cenote! This is a staple activity in Tulum. Although there are Cenotes that are closer to the wedding venue, they are more crowded and less scenic. We will be at Gran Cenote if you'd like to come hang with us! NOTE: Make sure to WhatsApp Steph (415-302-4091) or Jared (303-881-8423), since texting can be spotty, to check on the final Cenote location. There's a chance that if Gran Cenote is too crowded we will need to pull an audible and go to a different Cenote nearby. NOTE: Must take a taxi to the Cenote from your hotel, and back. It's about a 30 min. drive from the Akiin wedding venue. NOTE: Tickets are purchased at the Cenote for $500 pesos (about $25 USD) per person.
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Attire: Dressy Casual
A little more upscale than the Welcome Dinner. Here's how the internet describes it: "Like what you'd wear to a nice dinner on vacation. Usually, flip-flops and denim are avoided. Men can wear khaki or chino pants, and sometimes even shorts. On top, men can wear a button-down shirt (short sleeves are acceptable), Aloha shirts, or a solid-color polo. Women can wear sundresses or dressy separates, like a nice top and skirt. Instead of heels, try a pair of strappy or platform sandals." The floor at the venue is made of pebbles, so flats or block heels are recommended.

Attire: Dressy Casual
Here's another description of what the internet says that means: "Women should opt for a simple sundress, breezy maxi dress, or high-quality romper. While dressy sandals are acceptable, avoid standard, beachwear flip-flops. Men can wear nice, short-sleeved shirts, such as polos, as well as nice shorts (think Chinos) with a belt. In general, avoid denim, cargo, swim shorts, and cotton T-shirts. This is also an instance when sandals may be acceptable, or wear a deck shoe, loafer, or sneakers." NOTE: We'll be on the beach for most of the night, so bare feet welcome, heels not recommended. NOTE: The wind is FOR REAL by the water. We're eating outside, dancing outside, everything in SERIOUS WIND - it's annoying, but very pretty. So just prepare yourselves mentally (we are).
