When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

We'd love it if you responded as soon as you can but the deadline is August 20th. Please RSVP to each event so we can plan accordingly.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids but our ceremony and reception are adults-only with the exception of our family. We are happy to recommend childcare options. Please reach out if you'd like contacts or have any questions surrounding this.

what is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail. Depending on the weather, you may want a warm layer for the boat. Stiletto heels are not recommended on the boat. And don't forget your dancing shoes...

What is the best way to get to the various events?

Answer

Welcome Party: We recommend walking as it is only a few blocks from the hotels. There is free street parking near the venue as well. Ceremony: SB Sailing Center is located in the Harbor, across the street and an easy walk from the recommended hotels. If you prefer to drive, the Sailing Center offers validated parking in the Harbor parking lot. Overnight parking is permitted. Cocktail and Reception: El Paseo is a mile up beautiful State st. from the Harbor. Lyft/Uber and driving are good options. Walking is also an option. There is a city parking lot (Lot 9, entrance on Cannon Perdido St.) adjacent to El Paseo, and free street parking. Overnight parking is permitted. Beach Day: Leadbetter Beach is next to the Harbor, across the street and a few blocks down from the recommended hotels. There is also a parking lot.

Should I be worried about sea sickness on the boat?

Answer

Probably not. In the late summer, Santa Barbara has very little swell as it is protected by the Channel Islands. The boat is also quite large. If you are sensitive, you might want to plan accordingly.
