Although this photo is not us hahaha... this has been our inspiration picture as this was a previous wedding on Half Moon Cay :)
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking for people to wear muted neutrals if possible, nothing too bright or flashy. It is also going to be hot out! James and I will be foregoing shoes for the ceremony, but will need them for getting on and off the ship and walking everywhere else. We will do the ceremony first thing, then bring a bag with a change of clothes for swimming, tanning and enjoying a casual lunch at the island bbq! :)

Question

How do we get to the ceremony space?

Answer

Half Moon Cay is a tender port, which means we will need to take their small boats to get to the island as the ship doesn't dock, it drops the anchor off the shore in the distance. We will be connecting with the wedding coordinators to request that our group gets the first tender off in the morning. We're in port from 10am - 6pm. They're hoping to do the ceremony at 11am, shouldn't take too long, then you have the rest of the afternoon to explore and relax :) The ceremony space will be located down the beach where it is more serene. There is also an island bbq on the island where they take all of the crew and food off the ship and grill steak, burgers, salads, fruit, desserts etc. We have been told they may section off an area just for our wedding group to have a private seating area for the island lunch. This is casual and you can go for lunch whenever you want during the bbq hours.

Question

Will there be a reception?

Answer

We will have a little reception back on board. We are still finalizing details around this, but we will have dinner in the dining room as a group and then head to the Crows Nest - it's the top floor of the ship with windows all around overlooking the ocean. This is where we will have speeches, do our first dance, games, etc.

Question

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

We do not have a real rehearsal dinner, however, we have a Sail Away party booked from 4-5pm the day we board the ship. Our group has the Crow's Nest booked for this where we will have an open bar for the hour and it will be a way for us all to meet and mingle. :)

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We chose not to do a gift registry - we are just so beyond grateful that you've all taken the time to be there with us on our special day. We are so excited to spend the week with each and every one of you! If you would choose to send a gift, it would be most appreciated to have a contribution to our honeymoon fund.
