On June 13, 2020, Stan and I were legally married in a very small intimate secular wedding in my yard. We have included some photos from that ceremony after our engagement pictures. We are looking forward to committing to the sacrament of marriage in the church this year. These pictures are ordered chronologically and tell the story of our engagement and legal wedding. We know a picture is worth a thousand words, but if you click on the pictures, some of them have little blurbs about the photo.
We went to New York City's Tiffany and Co Store on my birthday to look at rings, and we found the one!

I sponsored Stan in his Baptism and Confirmation into the Catholic faith.
We got engaged after Stan's Confirmation into the church. Stan proposed in our apartment with my family present over Zoom. Of course I said yes (while also tackling him to the ground).
My very talented mother Heidi took our engagement photos for us at Marquette Beach.
Our first son, Hammy's first Saint Nick's Day.
Buddy was our flower boy for our legal wedding.
My Uncle Matty served as our officiant. We are so grateful for him stepping up at the last minute to make sure we could get married on the date we wanted.
We did a Unity Candle ceremony. Heidi and Mila light candles to represent their side of the family. Stan and I use those candles to light the center candle to represent the union of our families.
This was the exchanging of rings.
Elena played for our Ceremony and First Dance.
A benefit to doing a separate legal wedding was that we got the opportunity to write our own vows. That was Francesca's favorite part of the ceremony.
A plate is broken as part of a Czech tradition before the meal. Mila threw the plate and then we had to work together to collect all the broken pieces.
After the ceremony, we took pictures at Marquette Beach.
We love dancing together in the living room so we had to take at least one picture on the beach of us dancing.
