National Shrimp Festival
Runs October 9-12th, 2025. Free to enter Lots of art vendors and seafood options. Takes place right at the beach front in Gulf Shores. There's remote parking lots with shuttles to the festival available. This is how Scott and I did it when we went.
The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf
Interactive maritime museum dedicated to the maritime heritage and culture of the Gulf. Scott & I enjoyed it more than we thought we would
Uss Alabama Battleship Memorial Park
An old WWII ship that stays docked in Mobile. Walking the deck would be outdoors so harder to do in bad weather.
Tanger Outlets Foley
About a 35 minute drive south with a variety of typical outlet stores to shop.
Eastern Shore Lanes
Nearby to the hotel area this entertainment facility has bowling, laser tag, climbing, go karts and more.
