When should I rsvp by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 28th, so we can have an accurate headcount. RSVP will be available on RSVP tab of the website as explained in invitation. If you are unable to RSVP on the website, please let Scott or Sarah know personally before August 28th. Thank you.

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

Please check your invite for your party's guests. We've made an effort to include children and significant others as possible. If you have a question about your attendees, please address it with Sarah or Scott prior to the RSVP deadline.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress semiformal, suitable for warm weather. Please no jeans or casual wear, as we want everyone to come dressed to impress!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has a parking lot atop the hill entrance with signs. Please follow the attendant's directions to park and kindly remove car at the end of the night. There's a golf cart to chauffer you to the main venue builiding from the parking lot or you may chose to walk the path of steps down and cross the pedestrian bridge.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Mobile/south Alabama, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be very humid at all times of the year. During the day even in October, the weather in Alabama may hit a high of 80-90°F and likely not cool off much at night. Also it will still be hurricane season, so always be prepared for rainy weather, but prayers it doesn't!

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

We recommend comfy dress shoes for our celebration! Some outdoor areas at the venue might be tricky for heels, so pick something that won’t sink into the grass. Don’t worry—the reception and dancing will be indoors, so you can kick up your heels later!

What should I keep in mind regarding children during the event?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to be mindful of their children throughout the evening to ensure a fun, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. To help keep the little ones entertained, we are hoping to provide some small activities such as coloring pages, cards, and temporary tattoos. Please note that there will be late-night music starting by 9 PM, so if your little ones will be attending, be prepared for a lively atmosphere.

Are ceremoney and reception wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property! Additionally if you need a handicap parking spot please let us know beforehand as there are a few limited spaces behind the venue.

What time will reception end?

Answer

Music at the reception venue must end at 10pm therefore the reception will wrap-up shortly after with a sendoff of bride and groom, but that doesn't mean you can't take the after party elsewhere! Be sure to be responsible and find a DD or Uber. Twist 181 Lounge is a nearby cocktail lounge close to the hotels in the Eastern Shore shopping center and offers late night drinks until 2am. Whiskey Bay in Daphne may be a more lively evening for those looking to still dance.

If you have any questions prior to the wedding day, please reach out to Scott or Sarah. On the day of the wedding, feel free to contact either sister of the bride for any immediate concerns.

Are we planning a honeymoon?

Answer

We have planned a mini-moon to Chattanooga, TN, the weekend after the wedding to enjoy some time as newlyweds. Our official honeymoon will be celebrated in May 2026 with an Alaskan cruise!

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! In time, Sarah will change to become Mrs. Sarah Li!
