Some places to visit in the area.

Remember, you are in the sunny Wells, ME area where the winter months are low key. Most restaurants, local shops, hotels, etc. are closed for the "off" season (UBER/taxi are not really an option in this area.) Please feel free to visit Portland, Freeport-Home of LL Bean, Kittery (outlet shopping) Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport if you have the day to spend. We suggest grabbing a bite to eat for an early dinner, in one of the surrounding towns, as dinner will not be until later in the evening. Kennebunkport will be decorated from Christmas which is pretty to see as well as Nubble Lighthouse right up the road from the Bluff (the "most photographed" lighthouse in the world.) We are looking forward to seeing everyone and “Ringing in the New Year” with all of you! Let us know if you have any questions about the area.
