Samuel and Jenna met when she arrived at her unit at the Airborne Engineer Battalion in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. Samuel and Jenna are both 35G (Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analysts) for the U.S. Army. They worked closely together and created a lasting bond. Samuel quickly departed for Ranger School and upon his Holiday Block Leave (HBL), Jenna snuck down to Tampa, FL and their love story began. Samuel successfully graduated Ranger School (RLTW) and once he reunited with Jenna they dated in secret from the Unit. On weekends they would travel to Topsail beach, NC to relax and eat some of their favorite foods (Shaka Taco, and Steamed Oysters). Samuel and Jenna also are "Swolemates" where they go to the gym every single day together (except on rest days). In 2021 (Jenna's second Christmas in Tampa), when Jenna got off the plane Samuel knew he wanted to marry her. On 11 March 2022 he asked her to be his forever at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. The two are currently working on getting Jenna up to Washington D.C. to reside with Samuel.
