Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable so dress as you please. If you want to dress formal, that would be great or festive for the holidays feel free! We are hoping to have the ceremony outside so remember to bring a coat for the ceremony and wear boots if needed! The venue has a coat check so you can leave your boots there if you wish to change into your dancing shoes! More information to follow about the ceremony (which may be held a five-minute walk from the venue) as the plans are still in process. We realize the weather is so changeable in Maine; it may be a freezing cold day, a blizzard, or snow on the ground. . . For those not wanting to face the cold you will be able to stay at the venue and wait for our arrival back. **Be sure to check the website as the date approaches regarding the ceremony. Either way, you are at the correct spot at the Union Meeting House!

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, due to our limited space, you can only bring a date if it was specified on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any kind of dietary restriction. We will have MRE's for you. (Just joking! Let us know and we will accommodate.) We will have a Vegan option, GF, and Sugar-Free option!

Can my whole family come?

Unfortunately due to the limited space we have, please only bring who is specified on the invitation! Thank you for understanding!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony we ask to keep phones away. During the reception, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels; our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #S+J=F&A so we can keep track of all your pictures!
