Wedding Party

Katelyn Andrade

Maid of Honor

Alyssa and I met many years ago in high school, 2010 to be exact! I will never forget…Alyssa and I were on the North Oconee volleyball team. In an attempt to make some new friends, I invited her to my birthday party. She wasn’t able to come, but in true Alyssa fashion, she got me a birthday gift. A gray Hollister shirt with a pink Hawaiian flower and the best smelling body wash I’d ever received. It was in that very moment that I knew we’d be friends for the long hall. Over the years, Alyssa and I have maintained the most special friendship and bond, we are nothing short of non blood sisters! The brunette to my blonde, the short to my tall…my forever best gal!

David Altman

Best Man

The Best Man is also the Best Big Brother. Dave is roughly a year and half older than me, and growing up we were only separated by one grade. This meant we were around each other all the time. So much time that often we would bicker and argue, mostly about him stealing my clothes or me stealing his shoes. It was not until we both had moved out of the house and away from each other, college/apartments/Georgia, that we realized how much we still needed each other. Dave and I over the past few years have gotten closer even though by distance, we have only gotten farther. I watched him become a husband and now a father. I see qualities in him that I watched my whole life in my own father; qualities such as passion, unconditional love and patience. Soon it will be my turn to say "I do" and step into that role as a husband. I hope I can bring to the table the same disciplines my father instilled in Dave. If I can be half the man that my brother has become, I think everything will be okay.

Shannon Rae

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and I are cousins, but growing up we were more like sisters. We spent our afternoons sharing secrets, filming movies starring our American Girl dolls, terrorizing our brothers, and planning countless Bratz weddings. I am so thankful to have grown up by her side, and now I'm honored to stand by her side on her wedding day!

Ashley Smith

Groomswoman

To my dearest Ashley. Where does one start. A friendship that cannot be put into words and even if I could, I don't think anyone would understand. Bonding over our college major which we shared, we found ourselves hardly ever discussing homework, but rather our hopes and dreams with a little bit of gossip sprinkled in. If we were not flipping through flash cards we were goofing off in the library or taking midnight trips to taco bell in the Saturn. I spent as much if not more time with Ashley in college than I did my actual roommates. She has been there through everything, the ups and downs and has seen me at my best and even my worst. Ashley never judged me, always reassured she loves me, but didn't sugarcoat anything and was not afraid to call me out. She truly is one of the brightest lights you will ever meet. There really is no one quite like her. She is a ride or die friend and it would not feel like the most important day of my life, if she was not there with me. I am so happy she will be by my side on May 24th, 2024.

Ivy Jones

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and I have been friends since high school. Our first class together was Sociology in 11th grade. We love to spend time together shopping, going out to eat, or hanging out at a local brewery. Also, we both can't get enough of Disney! We love planning spontaneous trips to Disney World!

Brad Mayville

Groomsman

I have known Brad for many years before he ever knew who I was. Kind of an odd way to start our relationship. Brad was a well known wrestler growing up. I first saw Brad when I was in 7th grade, defeat the kid who would always beat the crap out of me in practice. This was someone I hope I never had to come across on the wrestling mat. Well as fate would have it, in an open men's league tournament, more than ten years later, there he stood across from me. While Brad still beat me, I hung in there and I am glad I did because that defeat has led to one of the most important friendships in my life. Wrestling was not the only thing that Brad and I shared in common. As a new self taught hunter at the time, Brad and I bonded over the topic as he was an experienced hunter and had hunted all his life. In our first real conversation, Brad offered to take me hunting so I could harvest my first deer. That very next summer, Brad took me to buy my first Bow and took me out on opening day and I was able to take my first deer, with him with me every step of the way. Brad is just that type of person, everyone else first, him last. Brad is so considerate and caring in everything he does. He does not have to know you at all for him to show generosity and kindness. Weekly texts and phone calls, chats of big bucks, work and family; its something I always look forward to. He is my best friend. I am so happy he will be standing by me on my big day.

Jayde

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and I met in high school and were instantly besties. We lived together for a few months while Alyssa was in college. She was always the one who made sure everything was in the right order and perfectly in place. She has kept me in line over the years as I am usually the more free spirited one. Now, I am honored to be a part of her special day and make sure everything is perfectly in order for her!

Preston Vick

Groomsman

I met Preston in my first semester at Keuka College in the fall of 2012. Bonding on and off the soccer field led to him and I, and a few others, becoming inseparable as we tackled our first years away from home and tried to understand the whole college thing. I think I spent more down time in Preston’s dorm room than my own, and even spent nights in his roommates bed when his roommate would go home for the weekend. (There was even an official dorm room flag) I was there when Preston almost burnt down his dorm room by lighting a towel on fire. I was there when the RA keyed into his room when we were being to loud and having a few beers. Preston was my partner in my first ever collegiate beer pong game, and later that night even stopped me from getting into a fight with Kyle Dailey. These are some of my first memories I made with Preston in our freshman year. It’s easy to say we have remained friends ever since, and went on to room together our next three years of college. I’ve watched him eat lunch off a frisbee when we ran out of clean dishes and I’ve have heart felt moments and conversations with him late at night watching the sun come up over Keuka lake. Preston is and always will be one of my best friends. He’s a caring person, and I aspire to be as generous and kind as he is. I am proud to have him stand by my side on Alyssa and I’s special day.

Melissa Von Kutzleben

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and I first met in the later years of high school. We went from simply sitting at the same lunch table together to quickly becoming best friends. Between experiencing graduating high school together, multiple beach trips, weekly get togethers to "watch" the bachelor, and even being roommates, it's only fitting that I get to experience Alyssa's special day by her side!

Richie Weit

Groomsman

Richie and I met in college. We were roommates 3 out of 4 years. Given that, we were around each other all the time. No matter what was going on, If I was there, Rich was probably there, and If Rich was there, I was probably there too. I don't think anyone has ever made me laugh as much as Richie did, and it was mostly at the expense of Preston, Tim or even myself. Rich always brought the party to you; he is always full of joy, laughter and was down for anything and everything. As much as Rich made you laugh, his competitive nature and desire to always push himself is what made me admire him the most. No body worked harder than him. Rich was always the hardest worker in the room. I admired this the most because we had similar values and always being around each other whether spoken or not, encouraged me to always be my best self. We have shared many memorable moments together, moments of sadness and moments of triumph. Being a friend of Richie's has taught me a few things. Be adventurous, go after your dreams no matter what anyone tells you and live your life to fullest. Rich is a true friend, the kind that comes to mind when you have a crazy idea, or you need advice on how to get something done. He commits himself to 100% of the things he does and always gives his all. Richie truly is a blessing to everyone who has the honor of calling him a friend. On May 24th, I have that honor. I am so happy to have him by side.

Erin McWhorter

Bridesmaid

I’ve know Alyssa since high school. We became closer friends when we started working at Versona together in 2014. Her house has always been the hangout house! Whether it was in Athens, Lawrenceville, and now Statham! Alyssa was always the best host from bachelor watch parties to friends-giving. Now I’m honored to stand by her said on her big day!

Tim Sheridan

Groomsman

Tim and I met in the fall of 2012 as we began our freshman year of college at Keuka College. We bonded on the soccer field as teammates and over the course of the fall semester became close friends. Tim’s room was right next to Preston’s so you always knew where to find him, as he hardly ever was in his own room. If Tim wasn’t in Preston’s room with me, he was in the library, studying to become the very successful therapist he is today. Although Tim never lived with Preston, Richie and I at school, he was the fourth piece in our puzzle, and he never felt very far away. As school went on and dorms changed, Tim would still split time between classes in our dorm on the second floor of Herrington Hall, sitting on that extremely dangerous green pull out couch. Tim would steal my clothes, my watches and my hats. I wouldn’t even notice, sometimes for weeks until I saw him at a party with something on but he always smiled and said “oh this… I took this weeks ago” like that excuse made it all okay. To this day, while Tim is on the move and all over the country it seems, he still finds time to just call and chat, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes a few hours. He’s a good friend. He’s always wondering how you’re doing, and genuinely cares about everyone he holds close to him. Tim has a big heart and would do anything for his friends. I am honored to have him by my side on Alyssa and I’s special day.
