Erin's Sister Erin's Blonde Twin (PSA we're not really twins, but we're 19 months apart, so that's close enough). The youngest of the five Maki children, Laney has a special knack for dad jokes, puns, and telling Erin to calm down. After sharing a lavender cloud room for the first eight years of Laney's life, Laney has been the pepperoni to Erin's pizza for the last 23 years. We are so lucky to have Laney pre-approving our wedding decisions at all hours of the day!

Ben Spadafore

Best Man

Max's Brother Some people say they look EXACTLY the same, others say they can barely see the resemblance, but either way, Ben and Max have been best friends since, well, Ben was born. As Max's younger brother, Ben has always been the cooler one, somehow magically skipping that "awkward" middle school phase, and always having good hair. As best man, he's sure to bring his particular brand of awesome to this amazing day! BAAAAAL

Kerry Greene

Erin's Cousin As one of Erin's two cousins, Kerb has always been more of a little sister to Erin. A fellow Hannah Montana lover and the curliest-haired gal around, Kerry is obviously the coolest part of our cousin group. Back in the day, you could always find Erin carrying Kerry around or all the Maki-Greene cousins watching the Pacifier (a beloved Vin Diesel movie that is now much, much worse as adults). Now Kerry is much taller than Erin (like the rest of the Maki-Greene family), and the Pacifier is not our movie of choice. Erin can always count on Kerry for Thai food, quips about her height, and lots of good advice. We couldn't say "I do" without Kerry!

Max's Friend from High School/College One of Max's oldest friends, Al has always been there - from locker buddies in high school, to next-door- neighbors in college. A renaissance man, Al can play a gig at a bar, fight a boxing match, write an award-winning short story, and then finish the night with a lengthy discussion regarding the physics of black holes. We're excited to add groomsmanship to his list of skills!

Erin's Sister Erin's hobby lobby sister. Erin can always count on this sister for serious crafting time. While only some of their crafts have been duds, they always have the best time. The best weekends growing up were the weekends Erin and Laney spent with Kel and her husband, Jon, at their place in Grand Rapids. Ice skating downtown, crafting, shopping, game nights, and eating all the foods (shout-out to Jon's cooking because Maki girls don't cook). We are so happy to have Kelley with us on our big day!

Max's Friend from Med School Max and Michael became friends after discovering that when they were together, they could make just about anything entertaining - even countless hours of studying. A compulsive dancer, Michael brings a contagious energy to any event. We cannot wait for him to bring that to our big day!

Erin's Sister The second of the Maki kids, Shan and Erin have always been very alike. Back in the day, Shan would come home from Grand Valley and spend the night listening to N*Sync while painting Erin's nails. These days you can find Erin and Shannon at their favorite sangria place (Sabrosa's in Shelby if you were curious) or making seasonal crafts. We couldn't say "I do" without Shannon!

Max's Friend from Med School When they first met, Josh thought Max was "a bit too bro-y." Josh quickly learned, however, that Max was just as much of a weirdo as him, and their friendship grew from there. With an astounding ability to do everything at once...and an astounding ability to put his foot in his mouth, Josh is sure to bring excitement - and spectacle - to the celebration.

Erin's Sister-In-Law The prettiest nerd you've ever seen, Katherine has been the perfect Irish addition as the fifth Maki girl. There are some big personalities in our sister clan (guilty!), and Katherine has fit right in. Some even confuse her as our biological sister (not Delaney though - Sorry, D). Katherine and Max are also the only medical nerds in the family, so you can usually find them off talking about neurons and other nerdy things. We love Kath and are so excited she's in our wedding!

Max's Friend from Med School In a sea of thespians and academic discussions, Max and Apoorv quickly bonded over their mutual love of sports and poop jokes. With a top-notch singing voice and a quick-witted, self-deprecating sense of humor, Apoorv brings life to any party. He's also really pretty... look out ladies.

Erin's Cousin As one of Erin's two cousins, Sean is more like a little brother to Erin. The most random person in the room, Sean is known for his dry humor that is subtly hilarious and destroying everyone at pool. As the only boy in our younger cousin group - along with Erin, Laney, and Kerry - Sean graciously welcomed Max to what had always been our group of four. We are so excited to have our Seanie in our wedding party!

Max and Erin's Friend Erin met Mauricio when she was 13 and in 9th grade. Max met Mauricio freshman year when they were both living in Bursley Hall. On Day 3 of Max & Erin's relationship, Erin brought Max to a high school friend's party, where all three were surprised by the connection! During Senior Year, Max and Mauricio were housemates in what was belovedly called the "Penthouse Penthouse" (aka a renovated attic of a 3-story house). Mauricio has always been a dear friend to both of us, and we are so excited he's joining us from Houston to be in our wedding!

Our Niece Erin's BFFL. The first of the Maki grandbabies, Ella and Erin share their love of Target, black and white movies, and everything Christmas. Ella is just the sweetest gal in the world, and she and Erin have always had a special bond. This will be Ella's second wedding, and she is excited to be on dress-fluffing duty. We are so lucky have her!

Ryan Maki

Erin's Brother The middle Maki kid, the only boy, and as some have mentioned, the "rose between the thorns." Ry has had no shortage of big brother tactics, including, but not limited to: putting coal in Erin's stocking for many consecutive years. He's also a pretty great big brother, and Erin inherited her favorite number (#7 - her softball number throughout the years) from Ryan. Needlessly to say, we're super happy to have Ry guy as our Usher!

Our Nephew Our fellow Michigan lover! This kid gives Max and Erin a run for their money in the Michigan fan department. He is obsessed with Maize and Blue, and we all bond over our love of Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines. E-Man is making his second wedding cameo at the Maki-Spadafore wedding as his brother, Ben, steps into his former ring bearer role. We couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without our Ethan!

Our Nephew As the comedian of the group, Chase can make anyone laugh. There was that time when Chase drew in blue highlighter on Momma Maki's cream couch while Erin and Laney were babysitting (wasn't funny then, but we sure do crack up about it now). Or there were any of the various times that Chase broke out into the most hammy dances you've ever seen. This kid always puts a smile on our faces, and we are so excited to have this guy in our wedding party!

Our Nephew Sweet, sweet Benny - the most photogenic human! Fun Fact: Ben was the first Maki baby that Max has known since birth. A lover of "Hail to the Victors," there is no doubt that Ben is definitely our nephew! This sweet boy has taught us so much about Paw Patrol and the best way to cut PB&J sammies. This will be Ben's first wedding gig as he takes on his Ring Security duties. We are so lucky to have our Benny walk down the aisle with us!

Our Niece This little lady is the life of the party with the biggest and funniest personality you've ever seen. She may be little, but she is the actual woman in charge! Expect to see this gal dancing the night away. Lu will be making her first wedding cameo as the youngest Maki grandbaby, and we are so excited to have this giggly girl in our wedding!
