Our story began with an introduction through family friends — a simple setup that turned into something so much more. We first met in Boston, spending the afternoon walking along Newbury Street, talking over bubble tea and getting to know each other. Somewhere along the way, he surprised her with yellow flowers, a small but thoughtful gesture that made the day even more memorable. She remembers thinking he was incredibly sweet, caring… and yes, very handsome. He, on the other hand, says he knew early on that she was a “precious gem.” (His words, not hers — but she’ll take it 😉). What started as an introduction quickly turned into long conversations, lots of laughter, and a connection that felt easy from the very beginning. Even when distance became part of our story — first Virginia, then Texas — we kept finding ways to grow closer. With our families cheering us on, what began as an arrangement slowly turned into something deeply personal and truly ours.
