FAQs

Question

What day of the week is the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

FRIDAY! We know... a pain... but we hope to see you there!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm. Please arrive no earlier than 2:30 pm, as St. Patrick's school will be in session and performing bus pick-up. An ideal time to arrive will be 2:45 pm to ensure you are seated and we can begin on time. If you choose to not attend the ceremony, the cocktail hour at Westbury Manor begins at 7:00 pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting Formal Attire for our wedding. For gentlemen, a suit and dress shoes are perfect—no need for a tuxedo. For ladies, a formal gown or cocktail dress is great. Please feel free to wear any color except white. The bridesmaids will be wearing a foresty-dark green, in case you'd prefer to avoid matching them.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have received a plus one, it will be specifically addressed within the invitation RSVP as "Guest". Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family, children belonging to our wedding party and kids over 12.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please refer to the "RSVP" tab and use the link provided to confirm if you will be joining us. Search by your first and last name. If you are having issues searching for your name, please contact us by phone or email at pmcwedding25@gmail.com.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Once the link is available, please RSVP by 9/30/2025. This will give us ample time to provide a final headcount to the venue.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! You will have some time between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour. Please refer to the "Things to Do" tab for a variety of activities in the Huntington and Westbury area to fill your time.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of hotel rooms at the Courtyard Westbury Long Island. Please refer to the "Travel" tab for more information.

Question

Is there a parking fee at Courtyard Westbury?

Answer

Yes! The fee to park at the Courtyard Westbury is $10/day. This fee will be waived for our wedding hotel block guests.

Question

Will there be shuttle service to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We have listed the location of the ceremony and reception on our website. If you choose to stay at our selected hotel, there will be a shuttle service that will bring you to and from Westbury Manor. First shuttle to Westbury Manor will leave at approximately 6:15 pm and the second shuttle will leave at approximately 6:45 pm. If you choose to drive yourself, there is a large parking lot at the venue with no valet parking.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

For cocktail hour, there will be a wide variety of selections to choose from. For dinner, each guest will have a choice of entree to select at your seat (including a fish and vegetarian option). Hosts will be pre-selecting the appetizer and dessert.

Question

Will there be an open bar at the venue?

Answer

Yes! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Reception will end at 12:00am. For those party animals (cough Melissa's dad cough), make sure to grab a to-go snack and join us as we extend the hours of the Courtyard Marriott hotel bar. Please note that the hotel does not allow outside alcohol to be consumed in the Bistro area during the after party.
