Kahului Airport (OGG)
The main airport on Maui is the Kahului Airport (OGG) located in central Maui. The Kahului Airport is a 2 hour and 15-minute drive to Hana, a 30-minute drive to Wailea, and a 45-minute drive to Lahaina. All travelers coming from the U.S. or its territories are required to participate in the Safe Travels program. Travelers arriving on a direct, international flight will no longer need a Safe Travels account but there are travel requirements detailed on the FAQ page. The drive to Hana is known as one of the most beautiful drives in the world. The Road to Hana runs approximately 52 miles from the beach town of Paia, over 59 bridges, and through 620 curves. A Private Plane can be reserved with a minimum of 2 people per fight or the entire plane consisting of 9 seats. A complimentary Shuttle from Hana Airport to the Hana-Maui Resort is provided. Pricing for the private plane is $126.80 per person one way, or $1,141.20 one way to reserve the entire plane with a full 9 seats and includes ground transportation to the private terminal from baggage claim. Mokulele Airlines Commuter Flight to Hana
Mokulele Airlines offers two flights a day to and from the Kahului Airport and the Hana Airport. A complimentary Shuttle from Hana Airport to the Hana-Maui Resort is available by contacting the Hana-Maui Resort's Reservations Department at 808-359-2401 or 877-803-7534.
