The easiest method of course is to take a car. You can order Uber or Lyft anywhere in the city or suburbs to The Alice Austen House and from The Alice Austen House to Vacations.

By Staten Island Ferry

The Staten Island Ferry is a quintessential experience and one of the most iconic rides in all of New York. It passes in front of the Statue of Liberty! It leaves from Whitehall station in lower Manhattan. -Once on Staten Island, you can take a car to The Alice Austen House, or you can take the S51 Bus to Bay St./ Hyland Blvd. stop, and the ceremony is a 2 minute walk from there. -If taking the Ferry to the reception at Vacations, you would return to the St. George Ferry Terminal on Staten Island, and when docking on the Manhattan side at Whitehall station: *You would take the R or W train (or 4 train from Bowling Green near by) UPTOWN to 14th St. Union Square. *From there you take the L train to Brooklyn, stopping at Jefferson St. and the venue is a short walk from there. Follow your GPS and make sure to check ahead for Ferry departures and total estimate route times!
