Where it all began, technically! It's like, if a bar in Vegas was in Brooklyn. No food here but drinks are fairly priced!
Bloom Cafe
We live and breathe Bloom Cafe. They are the best coffee on the island and are down the street from Alice Austen House, so if you need a coffee or snack before the ceremony THIS is your spot!
Black Mountain Wine House
This is the coziest wine bar in all the land, and the spot we go to the most probably. They have delicious food, an approachable wine list, and an all around lovely vibe. Order the panini and the Nicoise salad if you really want to be like us.
Snug Harbor Cultural Center
Once a retirement campus for well-weathered sailors in the 19th century, these exquisite period buildings and surrounding grounds are now home to several museums, artist studios, events centers, botanic gardens, and more. When we met, Jenno had a studio there and we spent much of our beginnings here making art and music together.

Considered by many, including us, to be the best pizza in New York City.
Corima
This Mexican owned and run Michelin star fine dining restaurant is for those that want to splurge and genuinely get your money's worth. We went there once and talk about it all the time. This is in Chinatown, go over to Winnie's Bar after and belt out some karaoke!
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Right in the heart of Brooklyn, is this oasis. Manageable size for walking and close to many things!
Grace's
Our favorite Irish pub. Food and pints are perfect. Their sister pub is Hartley's in Brooklyn, equally as good. If you're in town during the week, Grace's does Irish Trad music sessions on Wednesdays and Hartley's does it on Mondays.
Lunático
Small and wonderful Jazz bar. Get there early for a seat!
