What are the travel requirements for Spain?

Answer

Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date. While there are no mandatory health requirements to enter Spain, the CDC and WHO recommend staying up to date on vaccinations, including but not limited to Hepatitis A & B, Polio, Flu, COVID-19, Pneumonia, Meningitis, Chickenpox, Shingles, Tdap, and MMR. *Note: As of May 2026, U.S. citizens do not require a travel visa to enter Spain. For all other nationalities, please refer to Annex I of the EU Regulation for more information. ETIAS: The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is expected to become operational in the last quarter of 2026. We’ll be keeping a close eye on any updates and will share any changes.

You are not required to stay at the Cigarral, though we would love to have you with us to enjoy this beautiful estate. There are also many nearby hotels if you prefer alternative accommodations.
