Flight
Completely up to you and how long you'd like to spend in Medellin! But if you're planning on just barely making it to the wedding weekend, here are our recommendations: Aim to arrive by no later than 2pm on Friday, February 20th (to have time to go through immigration, get to your accommodations, get ready, and get to the Welcome Dinner by 6pm). Leave Sunday, February 22nd no earlier than 3pm (to give you time to join the Morning-After Brunch, get to the airport, check in, go through security, and get settled before your flight).
Flight
This is the name of the airport in Medellin - it is not difficult to navigate and is about a 30 minute drive to the wedding venue. HOWEVER - please note that the immigration experience in the Medellin airport can be a nightmare. It regularly takes well over an hour, and on truly terrible days, over 2 or even 3 hours. Here is what we recommend: - If you can swing the cost, get seats at the front of the plane so you're off faster and closer to the front of the line. - If traveling alone, go to the bathroom on the plane before you land so you won't have to go when you land and end up at the back of the line. - Bring snacks/water/a book/headphones/whatever form of entertainment you prefer for the line. - Wear layers - it's also very hot in the immigration line. - If you really want to avoid this experience, get a flight through Bogota - the immigration line there is infinitely easier.
Rental Car
We recommend you use Uber to get around the city as they are plentiful, cheap, and safe. However, coordinating with your Uber driver at the airport CAN be a little difficult, so if you'd like to skip the hassle, let us know and we can organize a driver for you!

House Or Rental
Airbnb will definitely be your cheapest option if you're traveling in a group. Most Airbnbs in Poblado will run you around $100-$150 a night, which (split amongst more than 2 people) will cost you less. There are a LOT of Airbnbs around, so you'll have plenty of options. Some things to keep in mind: - Airbnbs here often have the bare minimum in terms of kitchen accessories, so you'll probably need to eat most of your meals out - We strongly recommend you look only at places with self-check-in, as many hosts will speak only Spanish - Search for Airbnbs in the El Poblado area only (so you're not far from the wedding venue) - A lot of places only open up a certain amount of time in advance, so we wouldn't recommend booking anything before late August
