Do I have to stay in Hood River for the full weekend?

Answer

Absolutely not. Sophia and Andrew will be arriving on Thursday and staying until Sunday. You can coordinate activities with us, or go separate ways. Sophia will likely be organizing hikes, while Andrew will be riding his bike. If you would like to visit us in Seattle before or after the wedding, you are welcome to do so. It is one of the best summer cities, so we strongly recommend it.

Can you explain the geography of Hood River?

Answer

Hood River is a city that sits in Oregon. Our wedding will take place in Washington. To go back and forth for the wedding or other activities, you will need to cross a toll bridge via car. We recommend staying on the Oregon side if you want to be in a more active area with accessible food, breweries, etc. Outdoor activities such as hikes and water sports are available on both sides of the Columbia River.
