As Nick's mom, Rita is a woman who exemplifies the best qualities in a mother, wife, sister, and daughter. She has always been an inspiration to her son for far more reasons than can be listed here. Paramount is her unending love and dedication to her entire family, her stout faith and service to the church, her constant willingness to put others first, her career achievements, and not least of all her impeccable home cooking. As Nick reflects on the many gifts from God in his life, such an amazing mother tops the list.

Joseph Sutcliffe

Best Man & Father of the Groom

As Nick's dad, Joe has been the best father a young boy, and now a man could ever ask for. A role model anyone should aspire to be, Joe's gentle heart, unending curiosity, love for his family, artistic vision, and ability to teach, create, and fix about anything is what makes him such a blessing in Nick's life. Nick is so honored to have the best man he's ever met standing by his side on his wedding day.

Joan Jeffries

Mother of the Bride

While growing up in Arizona, Joan set an example of what hard work and dedication to family and education looks like, inspiring her three daughters to be strong, independent women and follow their dreams. From her work with child protection services, providing counselling services to First Nations peoples and incarcerated individuals, to fostering and rescuing a wide variety of animals over the years, her service to others was the inspiration for Meghan to work in public service and give back to her community. Joan's kindness and big heart shine through and Meghan is blessed to have her by her side for this special day.

Thomas Prentiss

Father of the Bride

Tom Prentiss is a gentle giant with a sharp memory making him one of the best story tellers and a wealth of knowledge. Meghan has fond memories growing up of summers in Indiana going to firework shows for the Fourth of July, county fairs, car races, and hanging out at the autobody shop he owned as he taught her how to repair and sand dents like 'one of the guys'. Separated by distance but not separated in love, Meghan is honored to have her driven and caring father to walk her down the isle.

Bristol Lorson

As Nick's one and only goddaughter, Bristol has achieved so much in her first six years on this earth. Lifetime achievements include sister of the year awards six years running, daddy's girl, and is the front-runner for kindergartener of the year. Meghan and Nick are honored to have Bristol shine her light on their special day.

Adam Arredondo

Groomsman

The legendary Adam Arredondo has held many hats throughout Nick's life. Fellow undergrad finance students, Nick's forever nemesis in corn hole, business partners in an elusive Aspen, CO catering business, and brotha from anotha motha are just a few. A visionary and strong man of morals, Adam has always prioritized his family, community, and faith. The entire Arredondo family has been so influential in Nick's life and he's grateful to have Adam and the extended "Dondo" family at the wedding.

Eric Behr

Meeting in a freshman gen ed class at Kansas State University, "Behr" has been a cornerstone and inspiration to Nick over the years. As a positive influence and someone Nick could rely on, whether galavanting across three continents, sharing a love for California wine country, or hitting the lanes (Behr has an impressive bowling average), he has been the best friend that any guy would want. With a personality that turns heads and immediately evokes smiles in every room he enters, a more caring, humble, passionate, and loving man you will not meet.

Dustin Harfmann

College dorm neighbors and then roommates throughout college, Dustin has been a faithful friend for many years to Nick. Countless St. Patrick day festivals, Kentucky Derby's and road trips have been a staple in their relationship, regardless of the distance between them. Someone always willing to give the shirt off his back, his generosity, humbleness, humor, and love for his family is a testament to his outstanding character and Nick is pumped for Harf to share in this special day.

Chad Lorson

As Nick is an only child, growing up his cousin Chad was the closest thing to a brother he had. Chad now runs the family farm in Hope, Kansas where Nick's mom grew up and which holds so many warm memories over the generations. As a role model throughout Nick's life, Chad is a renaissance man, more so than anyone you'll ever meet, a true leader in his community, and an amazing father. Perhaps Chad's best quality is his title of dad to Nick's amazing goddaughter and soon-to-be flower girl Bristol.

Philip Swanger

Phil & Nick met sometime early in grad school at the University of Denver, probably at a DU hockey pre-game party, then roommates during their second year. Baseball games and craft beer festivals have kept them close over the years in Denver, but Phil's ability to be there for Nick in good times and bad, always willing to listen and provide sound advice is truly what strengthens their bond. Phil's drive, positivity, love for his family, not to mention his remodel skills and devotion to the Denver Broncos are unmatched. Nick is honored to stand by Phil's side on gamedays and for Phil to stand by his side on the biggest of days.

Joseph Vessell

College dorm neighbors and great friends ever since, Nick & Joe have shared many adventures together since their teenage years. Most notably, escapades throughout Europe during summer internships in the U.K., Colorado ski trips, and New York City. They always stay in touch, regardless of the distance between them, a quality Nick so appreciates. Joe is one of the brightest people Nick has ever met, a brilliant architect, a patient and loving father and family man, and his allegiance to his St. Louis Cardinals baseball is unwavering. Nick is blessed to have such a good influence in his life, standing by his side on his wedding day.

Chloe Devereaux

Co-Maid of Honor

Meghan and Chloe met in middle school and though long-distance separated their friendship just two years later when Chloe moved to California, their connection never faded. Chloe is one of those friends who, no matter the distance, when they call or see each other, it is like time never passed - with deep conversations, loads of laughs, and full of her librarian book knowledge to fill a room. A loving mother of the sweetest little girl, Camila, and basically a sister who has been there through everything from the awkwardness of being a teenager to breakups, graduations, road trips and more. It's only fitting that she'll join Meghan as a bridesmaid on one of her greatest adventures.

Karey Jeffress

Co-Matron of Honor

Karey and Meghan met working at Taverna Greek Grill in Flagstaff, AZ after graduating form Northern Arizona University. They hit it off quickly with a love of dinosaurs (and acting them out in public places) and breakfast nachos, and have been partners in crime ever since. Karey is gifted in her ability to make anyone she meets feel like part of the gang, she's not afraid to be herself, and her knowledge of Lord of the Rings facts will impress. She has been there for all the highs and lows and Meghan could not be more excited to have Karey be part of this first step in a new chapter in life.

Dana Ivers

Bridesmaid

As the eldest sister, Dana has always been there for Meghan and is the first person she calls when she needs to talk through challenges or celebrate life's successes. They share many fond old and new memories together, from playing with Barbies and Meghan eating Dana's favorite lipstick to living together later in life and filling time with hiking, attending family gatherings with cousins, going to breweries and long chats while sipping coffee on the deck. Dana has the most contagious laugh and the biggest heart - serving as a role model and always putting the needs of her children and those she loves first. This day would not be the same without her big sister love and guaranteed belly laughs.

Kayley Jeffries

Kayley may be the youngest sister but she is also undoubtedly wise beyond her years. Kind-hearted, artistic, and intuitive, she constantly inspires Meghan with the way she is able to make everyone around her feel special, loved, and important just as they are and kindly teaches others to do the same. Not to mention she gives THE BEST hugs. From playing Spyro and Zelda together, supporting each other through late-in-life wisdom-teeth removals, having deep conversations on humanity, to exploring all the great activities Colorado has to offer, Meghan is grateful for all that she has experienced with and learned from her little sister. She could not imagine this day without her by her side.

Lexi and Meghan met while working at Taverna Greek Grill in Flagstaff, AZ. When looking on the schedule and seeing Lexi's name, Meghan knew it was going to be a great shift! Lexi has a cheery and positive attitude that will brighten anyone's day, is the first to wake up in a house full of girls making the coffee or baking muffins for guests, the best hiking buddy, and she knows how to swing a hammer to flip a home or RV. A great friend and now an incredible new mom, it will be a blessing to have Lexi's light shine at the wedding...and she'll undoubtedly be the life of the party.

Dani Searle

Meghan met Dani while working at Tri-County Health Department and they have been inseparable ever since. Dani is one of the most down-to-earth and mellow women out there who also knows how to have a good time. Forever dance buddies, Dani and Meghan spent the last 7 years attending concerts at Red Rocks and local Colorado venues, seeking socially acceptable reasons to wear onesies out in public, playing with Dani's fur babies and spending many a girls-nights together. As a close friend of both the bride and groom, they can't wait to celebrate with her at the ceremony and on the dance floor.

Gwendolyn West

There are likely no two women who know how to pack their calendars more than Gwendolyn and Meghan. This is likely what sparked their friendship in 2015 while they were both volunteering on the board of the Colorado Public Health Association. They started a women's group together in 2019 to create a space to connect, build friendships and support one another on personal and professional goals. They have since watched each other achieve those goals and dreams! Gwendolyn is one of those bright personalities in the world, with unending curiosity (so she is always full of fun facts and tools), and as one of the most intelligent people Meghan knows, is now unsurprisingly an attorney. Meghan feels fortunate to have such a great friend stand next to her on this day.
