Co-Maid of Honor
Megan and Lauren met freshman year of high school and have been the best of friends ever since. From driver's training to prom to celebrating their 21st birthdays in Vegas, the two have been a part of nearly every BIG (and little) moment in each other's lives. After more than 20 years of friendship it's easy to say Lauren is more like family. She is a one in a million kind of friend and Megan couldn't imagine celebrating this special day without her by her side.
Co-Maid of Honor
Megan and Alison met in 7th grade and became close friends in high school at Bishop Montgomery. It was then that Alison, Lauren, and Megan became an inseparable trio. Over the years this friendship has included lots of time at the beach, traveling near and far, a few fun-filled years as roommates, and "co-parenting" their beloved four-legged friend Finn. Alison now lives in Florida and while they may be miles apart, Megan and Alison are always close at heart.
Bridesmaid
Megan's dream of having a sister finally came true a few years ago when Kristen married Megan's brother Matt and the two became sisters-in-law. She is friendly and outgoing and you feel like you've known her forever after talking for just a few minutes. The two have bonded over their love for their dogs...and Matt. Megan and Kristen enjoy hiking together at home in California and up in Montana, and Megan does her best to keep up with Kristen's energizer bunny pace. She is the life of the party, so keep an eye out for her on the dance floor!
Bridesmaid
Melissa (Missy) is Chris's younger sister. Missy and Megan met for the first time when Megan joined Chris's family to celebrate his dad's birthday go-kart racing. While Megan was there for fun, Missy was there to win. Since then Megan has gotten to know her slightly competitive, adventurous, up for anything soon to be sister-in-law. Missy is kind enough to fill Megan in on all of the fun stories about Chris from their childhood. She's always up for a good time and is sure to add lots of fun and energy to the wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Megan and Kristina met freshman year of college at LMU. Kristina wins the award for living with Megan the longest! The two lived together in college and again later in Redondo Beach. When they weren’t teaching, they were making the most of happy hour and dancing the night away at their beloved bar Beaches. Kristina continues to be Megan’s kickboxing and exercise buddy. She and her husband Daniel welcomed their baby boy, Samuel, in March 2020. She is an amazing friend and an even more amazing mother.
Bridesmaid
Tiffany and Megan met freshman year of college in the bathroom that connected their dorm rooms. They lived together junior and senior year and spent many late nights studying for exams and writing papers. Tiffany, Kristina, and Megan rewarded themselves for surviving their first year of teaching with a 3 week European adventure. It was the trip of a lifetime! Tiffany and Megan returned to LMU to get their Master’s Degrees together, and while there was no trip to Europe this time, they did celebrate with some really big margaritas!
Bridesmaid
Tori and Megan met in 7th grade at First Lutheran. Tori and Frosty were already good friends and while some say “three’s a crowd” that wasn’t the case this time. Over the years the trio has had lots of up-all-night sleepovers and adventures. Tori is now a nurse and a busy mother of five. She makes doing it all look easy and still makes time to get together for girls night out. She is always up for a good laugh and Megan couldn’t be happier to have her smiling and laughing by her side on her wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Faustina (lovingly known as Frosty) and Megan have been friends since their middle school days at First Lutheran. Although they went their separate ways for high school, they were lucky enough to end up back together as roommates at LMU. Always up for a challenge, Frosty majored and excelled in electrical engineering and spent many late nights working away on her infamous whiteboard with her classmate Nick. Megan was always a fan of Nick (even when Frosty wasn't so sure) and was thrilled when they began dating and eventually married.
Co-Best Man
Chris and Aubery first met when Chris was in 4th grade. Aubery’s sister Alexis knew Chris skateboarded and invited him over to skate their new ramp. It was there, skating in the backyard, that their friendship was born. Their friendship grew stronger over the years thanks to skateboarding and the many adventures it lead them on, from the late night Hermosa Skatepark sessions to the C.A.S.L. contests. Nowadays the two are drawn together more by sports and gambling with an occasional skate session mixed in.
Co-Best Man
Chris and Jered have been friends since freshman year of high school. They were on the baseball team together and bonded while torturing their math teacher with mischievous high school boy antics. On one occasion Chris flipped Jered's hat off his head and out the window. Then, just as Jered reached for his hat, Chris nudged Jered out the window too! The two ended up going to their first year and a half of college together at Santa Barbara City College and then in San Diego. It was in San Diego where they took golf as an elective and developed a love for the sport which continues to keep them bonded today.
Groomsman
Matt and Chris go way back, 27 years to be exact. Matt is Chris’s younger brother. Chris was 6 when Matt was born, and Chris has lovingly played the role of annoying big brother ever since. Chris and Matt are lucky enough to get to spend lots of time together as they work together doing construction with their father Bill. While they might not always see eye to eye (what siblings do?) they do enjoy each other’s company on and off the job site. When they’re not pulling wire, the brothers love to golf and watch the Dodgers and Clippers together.
Groomsman
Same great name…different brother. Megan first introduced Chris to her brother Matt at a beer night he was hosting with his friend and roommate Andy, and the two quickly bonded over their love of craft beer. Over the years they’ve spent time together at family gatherings, nights out with friends, the annual Friendsgiving breakfast, and a few Stagecoach weekends. Perhaps the defining moment in their relationship came this past summer when Chris and Matt braved the front of the raft and successfully lead the engagement group down the whitewater rapids of the “warmest river” in Montana. Although they don’t get to see each other often (because Matt moved all the way to Ventura county) they always have a good time when they are together.
Flower Girl
Kylene is Alison and Ian's adorable, sweet, and silly daughter. Megan and Alison have been travel buddies for years, and although Kylene is only 4, she's already joining along in the adventure. When she was still in her mommy's tummy she went swimming with them and the manatees and as a baby she traveled with them to see the sights in Miami and the Florida Keys. Kylene enjoys the water, Paw Patrol, and FaceTime sessions with her buddies Emma and Peyton. She is loving her newest role as big sister to baby brother Aiden.
Flower Girls
Emma and Peyton are Lauren and Joseph's beautiful, sweet, talkative daughters. Megan knew Chris was a keeper when after visiting Emma and Peyton without Chris (after they'd met him only once) the first words out of their mouths were, "Where's Chris?" Emma is already following in her mom's footsteps as an outstanding student. When she's not busy in kindergarten, she's swimming like a fish and scoring goals on the soccer field. Peyton is spunky, independent, and adventurous. She loves to swim and dance. They are a dynamic duo and have recently welcomed a third musketeer...baby sister Marlow.
Jr. Groomsman
Noah is Megan's nephew and a seasoned ring bearer (he was in Matthew and Kristen's wedding a few years ago). He is a bright, hard-working middle school student and a super star soccer athlete. Noah and Chris have bonded over their love of soccer and video games, and they're nice enough to let Megan play sometimes too. Megan and Chris feel fortunate to have such a kind, thoughtful, and fun-loving nephew to spend time with and be a part of this special day.
Ring Bearer
Roque is the adorable son of best man Aubery and his girlfriend Sylena. Roque wasn't even born when Chris and Megan got engaged in 2019, but now that he is nearly two years old and on the move he's ready for his role as ring bearer! Chris is one of Roque's favorite people and to say Chris & Megan adore Roque is an understatement. Chris and Roque enjoy weekly Chick-fil-A lunch dates and Chris & Aubery already have Roque joining them at the skate park. Chris & Megan are thrilled to have such a special little boy be a part of their "I Do Crew!"
Dog of Honor
If you know Megan, you probably know Finn. Megan and Alison adopted Finn in 2013 and he has been right by their sides (literally) ever since. Chris might have thought it was Megan's dad he needed to impress, but he soon learned it was Finn he had to win over. Chris quickly discovered the way to Finn's heart...early morning trips to the dog park, letting him "stop to smell the roses" on walks, and lots of treats without having to do any tricks. Finn has already crashed a funeral (it's a long story) and he's ready to add a wedding to the list!
Officiant
Shane is the youngest of the four Dino cousins (Matthew, Troy, Megan, and Shane). Troy and Shane grew up in Connecticut, which lead to a friendly East Coast / West Coast rivalry. Although the cousins didn't see each other often growing up, they made it count when they did. Through the years they've been able to get together more, and as luck would have it Shane and his wife Nicole were among the family members with Megan and Chris when they got engaged in Glacier Park this past summer. Shane is a talented singer, dancer, and actor and he is now adding wedding officiant to his resume. Megan and Chris are thrilled and honored to have "Father Quinn" play such a special role in their wedding day.
