A trip to the zoo is a fun outing for the kids and animal lovers alike. Fun fact: One of the L.A. Zoo residents, Reggie the Alligator, used to call Lake Machado in Harbor Park (near where Megan grew up) home. He evaded capture for 2 years before finally being given a home at the zoo.
Visit the set of the Big Bang Theory, have your picture taken at Central Perk, and explore the wizarding world of Harry Potter on a tour of one of the busiest working studios in Los Angeles. Discover the art, history, and cultures of the American West at the Autry Museum. Megan has fond memories of visiting this museum as a child with her Grandma B. and learning all about growing up as a cowgirl in Montana. The museum is open Tuesday-Friday from 10-4 and Saturday-Sunday from 10-5.
Our wedding venue is actually located within Griffith Park, along with the Griffith Observatory, L.A. Zoo, and famous Hollywood Sign. We hiked to the Hollywood Sign and explored Bronson Cave (the Batcave in the original Batman TV Series) shortly after we began dating. With everything from horseback riding to golf, Griffith Park has a variety of activities to help you get out and enjoy the sunshine.
